Competitive programming - 5th grade
If you are a 5th grade student, you love algorithms and programming and you want to participate in the Olympiad in Informatics and various computer science competitions, the Competitive Programming 5th Grade course is just for you.
What will we learn?
We will learn to program using the C ++ language. In parallel, we will prepare for competitions in informatics by following the National Program for Competitive Informatics.
When are the classes held?
Classes are held by everyone Wednesday and FridayFrom 15:00 to 16:30 hours in office K3.
Start date: 5.10.2022 (Wednesday)

Interactive and multimedia projects for competitions in IT, 5th - 6th grade
If you are a 5th or 6th grade student and you want to participate in information technology competitions, you like to perform, you are looking for challenges, you want to create computer games, animations, interactive stories, websites, then this course is just for you.
What will we learn?
In the course we will create various projects (websites with online editor and HTML and CSS, games, animations and stories with Scratch) with which to participate in various competitions such as the National Olympiad in IT, Softuniada, IT Znaiko and others.
When are the classes held?
Classes are held by everyone FridayFrom 15:00 to 16:30 hours in office K1.

Practical programming of C ++, 8th - 11th grade, First level
If you are a student between 8th and 11th grade, you have little experience with programming and you want to understand what it is like to be part of a team of programmers, this course is just for you.
What will we learn?
The course will work on the practical part of programming. After getting acquainted with the main features of C ++ and Visual Studio Community emphasis will be on teamwork, planning, finding solutions and code synchronization.
When are the classes held?
Classes are held Saturday of the week from 9:30 to 12:30 hours, in FPMHS, office K1
Start date: 1.10.2022
Classes will begin with an organizational meeting (30 minutes) with students and their parents (1.10.2022, 9:00 am)

Our team

Maria Stoynova
Graduated in Informatics at Sofia University "St. Cl. Ohridski ”, has been working as a programmer for 20 years. Participated in the development of the system for issuing ID cards when changing identity documents in Bulgaria. Has many years of experience in developing of Finance software. Now she is part of a project to create an astro photography software. She joined the team with a desire to share her experience with all asking young programmers.

Miroslava Nikolova
Her interests are in the field of graphic design, web design, visual programming, using innovative interactive learning methods and various online tools to support the teaching process. She participated in a three-week dynamic professional development program "Training for promising leaders in education" in New York, funded by the "America for Bulgaria" foundation, as well as in numerous research projects as a partner of the FMI team, SU "St. Ohridski". Successful manager of projects ranked at the National Olympiad and National Information Technology Competitions. In 2022, Miroslava Nikolova was awarded the Diploma "Neophyte Rilski" of the MES.

Prof. Dr. Nikolina Nikolova
Specialist in the field of teaching methodology in informatics and information technologies, with interests in various modern teaching methods and techniques. Together with a team from FMI, SU "St. Cl. Ohridski" participates in numerous international research projects in this field. He is the winner of the award of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria "John Atanasov" in the category "Students and their teachers". Founder of the Computer Science schools with FPMHS and MobiSystems.

Diana Petrova
He is engaged in preparing students for participation in olympiads in informatics and information technologies. He is the leader of students who won prizes in these Olympiads. Participates in various projects related to education. He has been awarded an award by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the RIO Sofia-city for his contribution to the capital's education as a teacher of informatics and IT, as well as the "Neofite Rilski" Honorary Distinction for highly professional work. Doctoral student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of St. Cl. Ohridski", in the Department of "Mathematics and Informatics Education".
